The average dinner entrée is 2,000 to 3,500 HUF. Although they advertise themselves as a pizzeria, this is a relaxed restaurant with incredibly tasty Italian pastas and superb Hungarian cuisine. Look up the street north from the northwest corner of Dobó tér. You can see its romantic green, white, red, and wood façade fronted by an elevated terrace, with an overarching roof for outside summer dining. Or if you prefer, dine inside. Their staff is engaging and friendly. A slight downside is that the menu is in Hungarian, but there is usually a waitress with cenough English to help you get by. Nevertheless, make an effort to communicate here. They don’t need more business, but they can’t keep customers away. It’s worth it for the tourist to find out why. Try the csirkemell csíkok tejszínes kukoricával, rizs körettel (chicken in sauce with corn and spiced rice). It creams its way down and massages the palate with flavor. Any of the sauced pastas and esserts are superb.
